Canada & US Shipping

Fees
Shipping and returns in Canada and the USA is a flat $5 for each basket and $5 for each individual gift*. Multiple baskets or individual items will be charged at a rate of $10 per order.
*Please note that items shipped to Alaska, Hawaii and US Outlying Areas are delivered at our standard shipping rate, with an additional charge of $10 per basket.

Shipping Policy
CANADA:  All orders are processed within 1-3 days and are shipped out through Canada Post via Expedited Parcel and will be delivered** in 1 day – Local Greater Toronto Area, up to 3 days – Regionally and up to 7 days – Nationally.

USA:  All orders are processed within 1-3 days and are shipped out through Canada Post via Tracked Packet USA and will be delivered** in 6 to 10 days.  Larger packages will be shipped via Expedited Parcel USA and will be delivered** in 4 to 6 days.  Note that once the parcel clears customs at the Canadian border, the tracking will show a scan indicating so.  The parcel is then transferred onto USPS – the local national postal service for final delivery.

  • **Delivery standards are for items sent between most major urban centres and depend on origin and destination. Delivery standards are in business days, not calendar days. Some exceptions apply.

 

Worldwide Shipping

International standard orders (outside of Canada & USA) are expedited from our Canadian fulfillment centre using Canada Post International Parcel Surface and will take approximately 4 – 6 weeks for delivery.  Note that the parcel is trackable until it leaves Canada.  Once it arrives in the destination country, the tracking will show a scan indicating so.  The parcel is then forwarded onto the destination’s local national postal service for final delivery.

International Shipping Rates
International shipping is calculated using a number of factors, including the number of items you are purchasing, the weight of the items, and the destination country/region. The price can be previewed at checkout once your shipping address is applied.

Customs or Import Duties

Note that the total cost charged to you at check-out will exclude local provincial and federal taxes.  Any customs or import duties are levied once the package reaches its destination country.  Although we try to ensure the recipient pays little to nothing, My Lil’ Bean is not responsible for any additional charges for customs clearance and applicable duty, so please be aware that customers will be required to pay for these in full.  Duty (or customs tariffs) is set by the destination country’s customs authorities and is based on a combination of the country of origin or manufacturing of the goods being purchased, and the classification of that merchandise. Value Added Tax (VAT) rates are set by the destination country.  Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you may want to contact your local customs office for further information.  Delivery times may vary due to circumstances beyond our control.

Damaged Shipments

When your order arrives, please inspect the carton for any damage that may have occurred during the shipping process. It is normal for the outer carton to show some wear and tear; however, if there is damage to the item(s) in your shipment, notify us immediately at hello@mylilbean.com  Please indicate your order number when you email, and retain the shipping box, packaging materials and damaged items.
